Graphic recording: depicting thoughts succinctly and successfully achieving goals

This impressive real-time visualisation method succinctly and graphically converts abstract thoughts into images. Unlike a succession of PowerPoint slides, where viewers soon switch off internally, graphic recording is the ideal way of permanently lodging ideas, visions and goals in people’s minds at meetings, workshops or even at large conferences. The end result is that the visual record helps the group to reach its goals more quickly, and the desired outcome is achieved significantly more efficiently.

How does graphic recording work? In the conference room, a large screen covered with paper is set up. Our renowned MindGraphic specialist Herbert Weber will be there in the background at the event, listening attentively and producing drawings which convey the most important facts and arguments in graphic form. This is done in real time without distracting attention from the spoken contributions. The benefit: complexity is structured, and the illustrations help to embed the messages in listeners’ memories. Furthermore, this pictorial record enables people who were not at the event to share the results and findings.
